It is nearly been a year since I have had my little rugrat. Actually 11 months to the day. And surprise surprise he finally cut his first tooth. ;D one super-excited mom!!! Lucas is finally crawling like a big boy, but still does his little army crawl too. As far  as walking is concerned...he will do it when he is good and ready. LOL He actually walks when he holds onto a wall so I know it won't be very far off where my arms can finally get a break...lol.
On to more serious matters...the end of June I found two lumps behind one of his ears. I took him to the Dr. and she said he had an ear infection (in the opposite ear). It has been about a month and still his lymph nodes are swollen. The last appointment on July 11 the Dr. had x-rays and blood tests done and they came up clear (he had gotten a really bad cough and fever a few days prior to). She wanted to see us again in 3 weeks so...August 1 is our day...last time she mentioned they may want to do a biopsy of the lymph nodes if they hadn't gone down. So pretty much we are praying these lymph nodes go down to size and there won't be any need for surgery.
Well that's it for now, no more news really. Talk to you in a few weeks.
Love,
Hannah and Lucas

Nearly 8 months!!

Well my baby is growing fast. I never imagined it would happen so quick. Sunday he will be 8 months old. Geez. He's probably weighing in at 21 lbs and probably 27 or 28 inches. He hates to be on his belly therefore, he has not crawled at all. But he will walk if you hold his hands so I know that it is only just a matter of time before I am chasing after him. :( Don't let mom tell you he's not spoiled, because spoiled doesn't even touch what this boy is. LOL Try having a playground in the family room...spoiled....I'll let you make your own conclusions.

Nearly 5 months old!!!

I can't believe my little man is almost 5 months old. Although he isn't crawling yet I am sure he will start soon enough. He's such a handsome little one and I can't believe he's my son. He's the love of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Sometimes when he's sleeping I go into his room and just watch him. I bend down and kiss him on the head and sometimes he stirs but it's just something I have to do before I lay down at night, just to make sure he is alright and that he knows how much I love him. During the day it's crazy to say but sometimes I can look at him and suddenly he transforms (not literally) into a five year old or something. I guess it's a reminder that time will fly by so fast.

I start school back up this weekend...which stinks...I'm not motivated to do it, I just want to watch my son grow. I don't want to miss ANYTHING!!! I am still going to try and get a nursing degree, but it will take time especially with Lucas being so small and me not having enough finances for it all, but in due time it will come to pass and I will be a nurse.
